News from HAVU in early 2022

Hey you! Yeah you! Happy new year!

The year has changed, and 2022 has gradually kicked off. The year 2021 at HAVU was overall diverse and interesting. HAVU wooden watches found their way onto the wrists of more and more satisfied owners over the past year. We released new stunning wooden watches that gained great popularity among our ever-expanding customer base. Our goal is to make bold choices in product design so that HAVU watches combine style, attitude, and nature. A wooden watch that brings its wearer closer to their roots has already sparked interest widely across Finland.

Our wooden watches use the highest quality domestic materials

The utilization of Finnish natural materials in our products became an important element from both the perspective of our customers and us. When designing our latest models, the  Korpi and Harju watches, we decided that only the best would suffice, which is why Finnish birch wood was chosen as the material for the wooden components. Birch is a hard wood, making it an excellent choice for the raw material of a timeless and durable watch. Additionally, we believe that utilizing the gifts of our domestic forests is meaningful - we can't change the world overnight, but every ecological choice is a step towards a more sustainable future. Therefore, we intend to invest in this aspect in our future models as well.

On design days, we design new wooden clocks

In early 2021, we conceptualized Design Days, during which the entire HAVU team gathers to plan future watch models. Idea creation starts on paper and continues on the computer, progressing all the way to the factory. Versions of the new model are created until we are truly satisfied with the end result. Changes are made as needed, even after the first version of the watch is completed.

We are constantly updating our wristwatch range. We listen closely to our customers' wishes and visions for their dream wristwatch as we create stunning HAVU designs. In our upcoming models, wood will once again be at the forefront, which we find particularly exciting. To our delight, we can reveal that something new is on the horizon, so stay tuned!

New year, new tricks

In late 2021, HAVU watches found their way into the selections of the first retailers. You can already find our products at Sunkoru in Oulu and Kempele, Kultatähti in Kauhava, and Keskisen Kello! Our goal is to expand the availability of HAVU products to even more retailers across Finland during 2022.
