Wood as a material is a durable and environmentally friendly choice, which is why we use a variety of wood species from around the world in our watches, taking into account their carbon footprint. As a Finnish company, it's important for us to use as many domestic wood species as possible in our products, which we source from local timber producers. Utilizing Finnish wood, such as the incredibly hard birch, ensures that our products withstand even the toughest use for a long time. Finnish wood truly shines as it crowns the carefully designed shapes conceived in Oulu, where northern style and attitude are combined. Our Aava, Harju, and Korpi watches, made from Finnish wood, are our love letter to Finnish craftsmanship, forests, and nature.
Small actions have a big impact
Our approach is built on respecting nature down to the smallest details. From the outset, it was important for us to make sustainable choices so that we can do our part to conserve the Earth's resources as much as possible. For example, instead of plastic, we use renewable wood for our packaging materials: each of our wooden watches is delivered in a beautiful wooden box, where it can be stored when not worn on the wrist.
Speaking of small actions, we reuse all the cardboard boxes we receive. One piece at a time, through small and big choices.
