THE WORLD'S FIRST CHRONOGRAPH MADE FROM FINNISH WOOD
The design of this incomparable wooden chronograph comes from Oulu — HAVU design through and through.
We wanted to bring to market a completely unique, impressively sized men's chronograph made of wood. The Harju watch is the world's first chronograph made from Finnish wood. You won't find anything like it anywhere else!
A chronograph is a watch with a separate stopwatch function. The dial has separate smaller sub-dials for timing, showing the elapsed minutes and seconds. You can start or stop the timer with the buttons on the side of the watch. The third smaller sub-dial is a 24-hour clock. We also wanted to add a separate date display, placed on the dial in a way never seen before.
MADE FROM FINNISH BIRCH
The wood we use in the Harju is Finnish birch. Birch is a hard wood that works excellently as a material for the wooden parts of a watch. The glass on this watch is scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
Underneath the wooden parts, the watch has a stainless steel case that makes it water-resistant.
So you can easily take the Harju along on hikes in nature as well as on relaxed coffee breaks in town.
A STUNNING WHOLE WITH A HIGH-QUALITY MOVEMENT
When designing the Harju, we wanted to create a slightly larger watch with extensive chronograph features, without compromising on comfort. The wooden back doesn't get sweaty in the heat or feel cold in winter.
The Harju is fitted with a top-quality Japanese Hattori Cal. VD53 movement. The movement's best features are its extremely accurate timekeeping and its stopwatch functions.
You can easily change the look of the watch by switching to a different strap. Our selection includes 22mm straps that fit the Harju.
