DIAL MADE OF FINNISH CURLY BIRCH
The dial of this delightful unisex model is made of precious curly birch grown in Finland. Curly birch is a rare tree species that grows naturally in Scandinavia, and you can recognise it by its unique appearance. The growth rings ripple beautifully across the pale surface, and the bark left inside the wood finishes the pattern with lovely brown streaks and speckles. DESIGN FROM OULU, SWISS MOVEMENT
Aava is the polished result of a long design process. For its understated design, we looked for a natural colour palette with a touch of contrast. The chocolate brown of walnut and the pale tones of curly birch occur side by side in nature.
In addition to the dial and the strap, the case back resting against your wrist is made of wood, which is a huge advantage in everyday wear, as wood feels soft and light on the skin. We chose first-class materials for our gorgeous design. Walnut is a valued and durable wood material that is easy to work with, and its grain is beautiful – so it's a perfect fit for a watch. Aava features a high-quality Swiss Ronda 763 quartz movement with excellent accuracy. The first links of the strap are metal, so Aava stands up to daily wear beautifully.
